Japanese Night.

Kids deposited with my Mum and Dad, we made a quick dash to Alder Hey to check out the new nephew Seal. He arrived on Wednesday night, but after a hospital transfer and a night or two in the High Dependency Unit he was finally ready for a visit. Although it was obviously a big occasion for him, he decided to sleep through his first encounter with Uncle Seal.

Visit complete, we made a mad dash back home for a meal at my sister's. After a couple of dog sitting weekends, she decided to repay the favour with a Japanese Night. 7 courses later and after polishing off most of her alcohol collection we staggered the short distance home. Now, I think it's fair to say that my sister isn't renowned for her culinary expertise, but every course was home made and absolutely stunning.
