Restaurante Fernando
P, from our Friend's P&E (mentioned yesterday) turns 30 this weekend, so for his birthday, 11 of us teachers chipped in for a weekend stay at Macau, a first for all of us.
We rented an apartment for the weekend and celebrated the big birthday, explored a new city, gambled a bit, and ate good food along the way.
Here, one of the "must-eat" restaurants in town is Restaurante Fernando, which happened to be right down the street from were we were all staying.
The food was great, but not so many options if at all for vegetarians like The Goose and some of our other friends in the group.
Everyone agreed though that the beer was good.
Macau is considered the "Vegas" of the world, as gambling is huge there. So many casinos and glitz all over. It actually has brought in more money than vegas as more people around the world are able to get there.
A big coincidence is that my mom, fotoflarewithclare just so happens to be in Las Vegas right now for the weekend, coming from the Seattle area as my father has a business trip there.
