Empty Home

Whilst trekking my weary way to work just 5 hours after finishing my last shift, I came across this wonder.

It was on the pavement so I perched it on a nearby wall. The detail and care taken to build the nest is awe inspiring. as even though it had clearly fallen off a nearby tree it remained intact.

It looked so snug in there. I would gladly have gone in and had a snooze if it was possible.

It is ready for it's next tenant...or it would make a nice Easter Bunnet for someone!
