Bloedworst en kikkerdril

Tonight, our gorgeous friend Ingvild from the Netherlands joined us for supper.
Bill had created a delicious recipe based on a Nigel Slater one with some very creative additions, Black pudding, sausage, apple, parsnip, onions etc...

All washed down with a beautiful Muscadet.................

also Bill spent some time at our water supply. fishing out loads of toads.....aka frogs. Dozens of the wee blighters had sneaked into our spring well....and had SPAWNED!!! EEEEKKKK!!!!

Last year we had baby tadpoles coming out of our taps!!!

And still we refuse to go on mains water!!!!!

we are mad up here...........it's in the water!!
