Really cool cafe just down the road that is full of sculpures and art. Its here that this pic was taken.

I still like to keep up with what goes on in the world, even though I am without TV.

The great thing is that I can still listen to Charles Adler on the internet. ha.

It brings me back to my days riding in the tractor on the farm. Every day from 1-3 was adler online.. sometime boring, but usually a bit entertaining. I even built up the nerve to call in one day last summer. I was shaking the entire time..haha.

Anyway.

I really like what he had to say on the whole Ann Coulter getting denied access to the University of Ottawa last week.

Here it is.

Do some people see evil in Ann Couulter's points. No doubt. But I believe that there is something supremely evil about a kind of political correctness that is creating the kind of National embarrassment this country suffered last night.

Police in the Nation's Capital couldn't secure on a University campus the opportunity for a media personality from New York to spend a couple of hours with a couple of university students to discuss Political Correctness. You want to talk about Irony? Those protesters and the University of Ottawa helped illustrate Ann Coulter's point last night better than Ann Coulter ever could. No need for interpretation or explanation. It was black and white. It was brutal. It was the threat of violence to keep her from speaking. It was the jackboot. It was the brown shirt. It was the burning cross...Pick your favorite symbol of intimidation and opression and that's what was delivered to an American guest by Canadian students.
