Adventure

Still shaking off this cold, I headed out on the trails for a bit of an adventure today. I had the map in my head - that was a mistake! - as I set off. I then chose the wrong fork in the road - not a metaphor, honest - but ended up in this lovely spot on a bench that shall now be known as Badger Bench. It was donated in memory of a local former President of the New Forest 'Badger Association.' I felt compelled to sit on it as I know Huggy and some of the Custards like Badgers.. ;). I ended up walking a bit farther than expected on my adventure but it was, as they say, all bon! I followed my nose and found my way back to a trail I recognised. Much fun.
