Eggs

The Boy has decorated an egg for school. It's time for the annual Easter competitions - the younger ones have to make bonnets, lower infants an Easter card and the upper juniors a decorated egg.

Over the years Joe has put in heaps of effort with his endeavours, but it always seem the same mothers win year after year. And yes I do mean mothers, judging by the conversations filling the school playground at picking up time.

Joe might never win, but our prize is the fun we have doing it together and seeing the pride on his face as he smiles for the photograph.
