This is the break
in Spinrad's Shakespeare
class between the first
hour and the second.
Both are appalling,
and tedious.

This is the break
where I get coffee
or read a few pages
of whatever book I brought
or use the men's room.

This is the break
when I walk around,
shoot a hallway once
but wander constantly
while wondering how soon
this class will be over.
