Ye Old Computer #1 Amstrad PC1512
Still in the loft - now home to a veritable museum of old computers. This one dates from 1988.
512K of memory, 540x200 resolution and a whole 16 colours. It also had 10Mb of hard disk space - which I later upgraded to 30Mb. The cpu was an 6 Mhz Intel 8086 processor. While it ran MS-DOS, the Gem Windowing System. Digital Research who were the "inventors" of Gem were of course also sued for patent infringements by the friendly Apple Computer who of course have never borrowed ideas from anywhere...
The Amstrad also played a cool DOS based Frogger game - for which I would dearly love an emulation for....
As I delve further into the loft - more machines will emerge.
