Little Boxes On The Hillside

Well - a little pot on my knee.

Weather has been pouring with rain/ sleet all day and freezing cold with a howling gale

The photoshoot I was going to do this afternoon was canceled due to my model being ill ..... so I went and had coffee at a freinds house instead. She was in I hasten to add.

She had a nice vase of tulips that I tried to shoot.
I didn't have my flashgun with me so could only use thepop-up flash which doesn't give great results.
Also I only had my 50mm lens so couldn't get in close.

Ahh well.

Went to collect No1 son from work a 9pm and we had a covering of about 3" snow.
Needless to say the roads were littered with cars people couldn't drive.
I followed one fool who went downhill at a decent pace, braked at the bottom, put the car into a low gear and tried to go up the hill at under 5mph and wheels spinning like mad.
It took me and hour and a half to do the 6 miles there and back.
It was carnage.
By the time I got (nearly) home there was over 4" wih cars all over the place - so I parked the car nearby and we walked back.

I will have to do a spot of digging tomorrow.
