Tower Bar
This landmark built in 1932 stands on the corner of University & Euclid in City Heights. It didn't always look this way! But it does now and we just so happened to go to the 777 Noodle House for lunch. This is a tradition we started, venturing out to lunch one of the days our boss is on vacation. We call it, 'when the cat's away...'. Funny thing, he knows we go. He laughs. There are 4 of us in the department, 5 counting him. Sometimes we all go. We have tried to talk him into going bowling, but that hasn't happened. You know for...team building!!!
Anyways, we try to go to a place we haven't been, or the majority of us haven't been. The 777 Noodle House was good...but back to the blip...I shot a few things real quick while in that part of the hood, but this was the most colorful. One co-worker pointed out Christ's 99 Cent Store...I blipped it...but it wasn't as exciting (no offense Christ, but I didn't even know you had a 99 cent store).
So that is today...a unique little slice of City Heights, San Diego, CA!!!
Happy Tuesday!!!
