a bright future.
....at least, that's the first thing that popped into my head as I saw how bright this came out.
This was before we checked into MCGC State Championships with the team for our FINAL WINTERGUARD COMPETITION OF THE SEASON (more info on how it went can be found here.)
So since this is the first time posting a blip with my trusty Pentax Optio T10, a little bit about the camera:
It's a 6megapixel, 3X optical zoom camera that functions practically ALL on touchscreen. It was originally supposed to be a "family-use" camera, but I ended up using it the most often so I kinda just labeled it as "mine-but-people-can-steal-it-if-they-so-want-to." It's been through a few drops so a part of it is starting to crack and the slidy thing that controls the zoom is a bit slow at responding, but it's alright.
Cons: 1) All it has is white balance, AE metering, and AV controls; it has NO SHUTTER SPEED/ISO/etc. AT ALL. I checked about five billion times and had one of my photography-geek friends look at it. 2) Its macro function fails at focusing...actually, it fails to focus quickly overall. HOWEVER, once you get it to focus, it's super-clear. Usually.
...Basically, this is the camera I usually tend to take around social gatherings/events where I won't be able to keep an eye out for my things 24/7. I'd be too paranoid to bring my precious Canon in these kinds of situations.
