The Green Hills of Earth

That was actually the title of a sci-fi novel by Robert A. Heinlein - there's a poem in it that goes:

We pray for one last landing
On the globe that gave us birth;
Let us rest our eyes on fleecy skies
And the cool, green hills of Earth

For some reason the view of our mountains this morning reminded me of this book - which I read close to 20 years ago!
