First Adventures

Another pretty good night last night and we're adjusting to life with our beautiful baby daughter.

Today, despite the four inches of snow that dumped last night and this morning, we went to visit our 90-odd year old neighbour and also to the hospital for baby42's peadiatric check and hearing test. She passed all the tests and got her first certificate!

We then even felt brave enough to go to the shops and get provisions in before the hoards (yes - I know you'll be reading this 'hoards') descend at the weekend. Baby42 was a little angel in the car, in the hospital and in the supermarket. Phew. Its good to know that we can do some normal stuff still. This evening we might even try for some TV action (Mrs42 is in withdrawal)!

Fingers - still all cute and wrinkly but getting smoother with daddy massage classes.

Thanks for your continued wishes and comments - they mean a lot to us.

BTW - some of you mentioned how clean she looked on Monday just after she was born - its because she was born in a birthing pool at home. As well as being brilliant for her and Mrs42, the pool gave me something to be responsible for (as well as being there for Mrs42 of course).
