living in an old house reminds you of your place in the grand scheme of things - and that you are merely passing through. we have taken this crumbly old place, where one person's life had retreated in to a smaller and smaller space, and have spread out in to every nook and cranny.

...and thank god none of the stained glass windows have broken (...yet.. argh..don't want to tempt fate...)

job done at work. deadline hit. hooray. in typical fashion i am now a) wondering what all the fuss was about and b) feeliing more deflated than elated. but new horizons beckon and many adventures are to be had...

..and mr skaterg1rl and the kids are home which makes me feel whole again. i had forgotten just how much i loved them all
