What's for dinner AKHF?
Palma airport has annoyingly removed the trolley facility, whereby Mrs Pepperpot, Agu and I were hoping to be whisked through the endless corridors in comfort, to arrive triumphant at the boarding gate. Instead we hobbled and limped through the dutyfree shop and passed the thousands arriving for an Easter in Mallorca.
At least the flight was empty and I could stretch out on three seats. The very droll Australian Captain taunted us by holding back the weather report until we were 10 minutes from landing. There was a gasp from the passengers at his news, and another as we felt the gentle blast of sleet on emerging from the plane. Agu was blown off the suitcase he was perched on. We were so pleased that mv met us and soon AKHF had plied us with hugs, lentil soup and ham rolls. Hurrah! Fish pie and lemon yumminess pudding (Soller lemons) for dinner and all is well with the world.
