Things to do with a dead car. No 6.

Cycled all the way back down to Portobello with my car registration document so the garage could have it taken away for scrap. The man said "You could drive it to Loanhead yourself and get £50 for it".
It was beginning to rain and the smell of the dripping fuel had been awful and it would mean heaving my bike into the car and cycling 5km back from the scrapyard and being late for a meeting. So I cycled off.
Then I thought well £50 for another hour out of my day - so I cycled back, then I thought no that's stupid, so I cycled off again, then I thought I might just fit it all in before the meeting...and i cycled back, and then turned round and cycled home again.

The day didn't get any better after that.
