A Flower for Easter

Anemone japonica

Other NZ blippers have presented stunning shots of this flower recently, but I can't resist entering one too. They grow beside my verandah entrance and I pass them frequently. The flowers on tall stems are almost at my eye level. I can't ignore them.

The fantail has twice come indoors today. He sits on the kitchen clothes line and declares his ownership of the territory, very loudly. I was away all day yesterday. He must have been frustrated at not being able to get in.
