what does all this mean

what does a building made of bricks and motar mean to our social system that places man on top of each other. People living and walking over the top of each other seperated by a hand fill of stones and concrete. Are we living in boxes or crates like banadas which come from tropical islands fulled with people who live side by side with nature.
