Bremerhaven

Went to the German Emigration Center at Bremerhaven today.

It's a museum for the history of emigration from Germany to Argentina and the U.S.A., and it was awarded the European Museum of the Year Award in 2007. A day well spent! If you're planning to spend some time in Northern Germany, consider a visit there- I recommend it very much.

They also help you researching your family tree if you're from Argentina or the U.S.A., and have ancestors who came from Germany.
