Storyteller Series - #8 Storyteller (Hair close-up
... continuing our visual tour.
The texture of the hair segments is fascinating. I CANNOT tell whether they were made by extruded clay spaghetti shaped together and cut to size,
OR were half round cylinders "grooved" by a tool. It reminds me of how a cucumber for a fancy salad is grooved by the tines of a fork before slicing to give it texture.
When I look at the segments on the back or lower parts of the hair I lean towards the fork tine theory,
BUT the hairline segments really look like they would support the spaghetti theory.
Perhaps the other blippers in the area could visit the site and give their educated guesses about which method was used.
