Cold day in Aachen

This whirlpool is one of my favourite spots in the German spa town of Aachen. It's located behind the famous fountain that is the town symbol, the Elisenbrunnen. In warmer weather, there's always a crowd around - children sticking their toes in the water, tourists posing by the bronze statues. Occasionally, someone will wade right in.
