Cromarty lighthouse

Holiday time!!

Today I flew to Scotland to start my Easter hols, the first holiday I've had in a long time. I'm up in Cromarty, near Inverness, to visit my best friend Luce for a few days before flying off to Crete.

Today we just chilled out, wandered around the village and caught up on all the latest gossip, before retiring with a bottle of wine or two. I almost blipped this picture of some oil rigs that have been towed into the bay for the winter, but I thought I should take the opportunity to blip Luce's place of work instead. She's lucky enough to work in this lighthouse, the Cromarty Lighthouse field station, where she does all sorts of cool sea-birdie research. I'm hoping to get some nice bird photos before I leave, so fingers crossed the little fellows are kind to me :)
