St Stupid's Day Parade

Not only was today April Fool's Day, but in San Francisco it was also the day of the 32nd annual St. Stupid's Day Parade. Sponsored by The First Church of the Last Laugh, the costumed crowd traveled to sites around the Financial District with drums, whistles, bubbles and chants of "No More Chanting!" At the site of the old Stock Exchange, there was a Sock Exchange.

In this photo the procession has stopped at the tomb of St. Stupid. Knocking on the door of the tomb, the crowd discovers that once again, Stupid isn't there.
