Caught!

Avery loves trying to eat any little crumb on the ground. It totally freaks me out. The best case scenario every time she picks something off the ground is that it's an crumb of a cheerio. No matter what the case, I react abruptly saying, "What do you have? What's in your mouth? Show me what's in your mouth? Stick out your tongue." Sometimes she cooperates. But in those moments where she really thinks she found something good (something that she cannot have), she gets this look on her face that is so obviously sneaky. Sometimes she even laughs at me and acts like we're playing keep away. That's always fun because she's obviously aware that I want something from her but she would rather make it a game and toy with me and my anxious over protective emotions. Am I in trouble?
