Lady in Red!
Was woken up at 8am with a flaming air hammer ramming some rods into the ground on the building site behind us. By 12 noon I had given up all hope of finishing my work and phoned head office up to tell them I was jacking it in for the afternoon due to the noise which they could plainly hear through the phone.
Weather good and as it is Good Friday and religious duties called, hubby and #2 daughter and I decided to go to the cahtedral in Oban for the service , perhaps not the best idea as it went on and on and on.
finally feeling suitably christian we scurried off to the evil Tescos to purchase all our Easter eggs. Its at times like this I realy feel the loss of my father as he was the one who went out and bought the kids all sorts of interesting eggs. This year is the first year we have had to face birthdays and Easter without my parents who both died last year within 4 months of eachoter. However once we get this year over with I am sure things will ease but its odd these wee things that jog your memories such as the Easter eggs.
We also went to Petsmart and my gran would turn over in her grave if she saw me purchasing doggy Easter eggs and doughnuts for the rabbits!
Just drove back and waiting for dinner then daughter will walk doggies and I will probably take a wee stroll along the Crinan canal which saw its first boats just this week and above is a nice converted fishing boat with net curtains and all.
Have a blessed and good Easter all blip peoples
chris
