The Hills are Alive.....

With the sound of bees!
Liz, my fiance, spotted a field just outside Fala ( off the A68 heading south out of Edinburgh ).
'It is full of purpley blue stuff, and would make a good Blip' she said.
On my way through today, I stopped to take a few shots.
The field is indeed full of what looks like lavender from a distance.
Only it wasn't lavender.
Not a clue what it was.
It had a really sweet scent like Parma Violets, and the bees just loved it.
Anyone know what it was?
Some illegal drug perhaps?
Anyhoo, this was the best shot I got of the mystery plant.
