Missing Something?

Here is the missing wheel from young Martin Semerads Mitsubishi rally car. He ripped it off after crashing on the World Rally Championship event here in Jordan on the today, the final day.

He was too fast into a right hand corner, went off the road and up a steep bank, spinning and landing heavily back onto the road. Somewhere in all that this front wheel got torn off the car.

Once separated from the rally car it headed down a steep slope and poor Martin had to roll the heavy wheel all the way back up for his mechanics to salvage any parts from it.

Meanwhile the car three wheeled car had blocked the stage with the next competitors unable to pass until enough people had gathered to lift Martins stricken car out of the way.

He wasn't very happy wasn't young Mr Semerad!
