Steadfast

Colin ran today to show support for his daughter and to raise awareness of a misunderstood illness. Jodie suffers from M.E. better known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Jodie has soldiered on with this for the past 6 years and despite living with it she has managed to bring a beautiful little girl into the world.

Grandad Colin has been a massive support to Jodie, understanding and supporting her when many others didn't.

Today he chose to run a personal marathon along a route that he decided which passed through all the places he has grown up in and lived his life in. Those who know Colin and his family, will confirm just how giving he is. Today was just another example.

Colin ran from Dunbar to Portobello and a big tearful hug was waiting from Jodie who was at the finish line on the promenade.
