One of those 'marker' shots

You know the kind of shots I mean: they mark the first of something or the last of something, representing a moment in time that you can never get back.

The handsome dog boyfriends went home today...their family returned from Disneyworld, happy and rested.

It wasn't easy to get them all on the porch for this. The black Lab, well, he does whatever I ask but the brown Plott Hound...can you tell he's just ready to pounce? That little couch is where he snoozes all day but because I wanted him to stay and pose he couldn't wait to get off. My old girl is just happy to be horizontal...she has so little energy these days.

It is very likely the last time the three best buddies will be together like this...a moment in time. That's what all photographs are if you come down to it.
