Goose

There has been a lot of awful weather recently, storms, rain, snow once again on high ground. There have been many gulls sheltering this far inland, in flocks on the greening fields. These Canada Geese have made a home near the stables for the past few days. We have seen others in meadows near Hadrian's Wall. Knowing that they won't be with us long is a good reason for a photo.

Makes a change from Pheasants.
