Long Ayre

Usually it is footballs I find on shores, so this tennis ball makes a change. I walked from Kirkwall to a bridle path, along the Burn of Wideford to Inganess Bay and along to Long Ayre. Ayres are raised shingle beaches enclosing brackish lagoons. The light was very poor and the shots I took aren't much good, so I'm posting this.

Of course, the light improved greatly once I had walked on a coule of miles.
