Little Petra

Last night I stayed in a camp near Little Petra in Jordan so this morning my friend and I walked around this beautiful site. It was early so the only person we met was a man sweeping sand from the steps on the way up to where this photo was taken. There was some tricky climbing but the views were fantastic! We were glad to have some mint tea before heading back to the camp for breakfast. In the afternoon we joined some other friends to walk, hike and climb our way from near Little Petra to the Monastery in Petra. The combination of adventure, peaceful moments and fun with old and new friends made it a perfect Easter Sunday. Surprising as there's not a chocolate egg in sight!
