Family time

Really enjoyed this weekend... R and I travelled back to our home county on Thursday and have had just the most lovely time. Started off with a trip to Beverley on Thursday afternoon with M, Rs mum, then Friday I went shopping with my lovely mum and we got all that I need for the trip to Ghana. Mum bought me some lovely clothes for Easter instead of the usual chocolate egg (chocolate upsets my IBS so is a no no). Friday evening i'd arranged for some friends from Canoeing to meet us in a pub as a surprise for R but as it happened the surprise was blown which was partly my own fault but none the less we all had a great night and R enjoyed the catch up! Just for fellow blipper Sailfish, included in the meet was G,S & their daughter H and ST was there too plus a couple of newer bods.

Saturday I spent with my lovely Nan and the daft dog (see yesterdays blip) then I caught up with my good friend C and got the grand tour of her new house... A lovely meal afterwards at Pizza Hut!

Today... quiet time with my mum and her husband A before heading across from yella belly land back to the native county to pick up R and head on back down.

I love being back at home and hope that sometime soon we can move back so we can both be back near our mums and friends but for now it's been a grand weekend full of laughter and happiness which I treasure so much.

Now back and the prep is in full swing for our departure to Ghana on Tuesday.

This necklace I bought yesterday to go with my new clothes which will no doubt be blipped whilst on my travels. I like it as it is a bit different to what I would wear but goes nicely with my new attire which is also a bit more adventurous for me. Far removed from my jeans and fleece!
