Screech

I went out for a cheeky bike ride today. Still not shaken of this cold. Think I've got a bit of a chest infection. So I went out for a pootle and came to a stop just out of Lover when I heard an allmighty screech. A few actuallt. I really didnt know the sound and was intrigued. Cue this shot, which is definitely smaller than it all looked. Over to my left, 30+ feet up a tree were 5 very large peacocks. You can see three of the here. Huge tails hanging down. They didnt move much, but they did open and close their tails while screeching some more as I stood and watched. I chuckled when I realised I was being a complete towny, staring with my mouth wide open. Doh.

The rest of the day I spent finishing my book One Red Paperclip. Worth a read if you fancy something light hearted yet uplifting - about a canadian guy called Kyle who traded up 14 times from the red paperclip he had on his desk at home to a house. Anything is possible!
