Ladybug

Next Wednesday is my brother's birthday. Because it is Easter Monday and everyone is having the day off, he held his birthday party today. The weather was good and my brother lives very near to our home so we decided to walk over there. I didn't want to bring my DSLR but we did bring the Panasonic compact camera.

After some time the children wanted to play in the garden and I joined them with the camera. A ladybug crash-landed into Inge's coat. Nienke 'persuaded' the ladybug to sit on some flowers she collected, after which I took another picture. The Panasonic has a macro setting that seems to work very well; I like how close I could come.
