Rainy day

I cannot even begin to describe how rainy it was today.

After work I walked round the corner to the swimming pool and my trousers were soaked through right up to the knee. It was disgusting putting them back on after my swim.

The walk from the bus stop to my home was no better, with the wind blowing my umbrella inside out and blowing the rain up from below and into my face in needle sharp freezing droplets. The hill before my house was a river of inch deep water and the park was a marsh.
