Fulwell Mill.
Fullwell Mill dominates the skyline over the Sunderland suberb of Fulwell. It is right at the end of someone's back garden. It is a working example of how windmills were used in the past.
After extensive refurbishment, the sails of the mill were reconstructed, and it was brought back to life after years of standing forlornly unused.
The limestone building was constructed for electric light bulb inventor Joseph Swan for £900 in 1806 and was powered by canvas sails.
