Oh Happy Day

Today was amazing! There's no other way to describe it.

I spent my afternoon in Stirling, where I was going to sit my theory test. Took a while to find the place, had to ask two guys for directions but I got there in good time. I was so nervous that I couldn't eat my lunch and I was all set for failing.

You have to put all your possessions in a locker before going into the exam room. The first locker I came to was number 13 and I had already opened the door and was about to lay my stuff in it when I clicked... 13? Damn right it's not going in number 13 so I switched to lucky number 3. Anyway I got in there, read over all the stuff, double checked all my answers etc and then went out to get my results. The man at the desk handed me a piece of paper and said, "Well done!" I just stared blankly at him as I opened the piece of paper. My eyes scanned all over it to find where the results were. "What no reaction?" said the man. Then I found it, I PASSED :D! I felt my face light up with disbelief as I ran out of the test center to where my mum was anxiously waiting outside. I've been smiling ever since!

It is my niece Jessica's first Birthday today. I went to see her tonight. How much toys can a child have? Seriously. We had a lot of fun though especially in her little pink car, which Russell and I got a bit stuck in. I also saw Claire, Alan and Euan briefly and then I went a short walk with Fiona.

Now it's time to pack as I'm off to Tenerife tomorrow morning, and when I say morning I mean I have to get up at 3.40am :| uh-oh!
