Helmeted Guineafowl (Numida meleagris)

I was looking out for them for a few weeks now!! Lillian (not back from her Easter weekend at home yet) will be só thrilled when she sees I finally succeeded in shooting them!!

We hear them in the long grass every day, but they hide só well, and I knew there were lots of babies, I só much wanted to blip the babies when they were still much smaller, but to no avail! Here are some Daddies, Mommies as well as young ones!

It was raining all day today, but when I decided to walk quickly, it was just dripping, so I dared going out without a raincoat!! Eisch, as soon as I was about 500mt from home, I saw them fár down, on the corner, in the street, moving into the high grass and out all the time! I started shooting from fár, just in case they fly off!! But fortunately they stayed there until I was about 20mt from them!

By then it was raining quite hard and visibility was quite bad, but I just had to finish what I've started!! Fortunately they flew off, before I was too wet, there were about forty of them! But then I still had to walk back home!!

What will old people NOT do for a Blipportunity!! ;-)
