Bank Holiday Burnday

I know it had to be done. And as the Bank Holiday weather and television was playing to form (lousy) a bit of spring cleaning on the collection of computers around here seemed just the ticket to while away an hour or two.

That was 10:30 this morning. And now, at just after 7pm I'm still playing giant tiddlywinks with DVDs and I've just spent the best part of today burning disc after disc to get the machines cleaned up. Just over 9,500 pictures backed up (from two separate machines) with nearly half of them being taken just since the start of the year. Can't mind of having this problem before I joined blipfoto...

The good thing is all the images are now backed up, there's around 35GB of extra disk space available and all that needs done now is to give the machines a once over with some Mr Muscle and hang a Magic Tree off the rear view mirrors and we're good to go for a few thousand miles until the next service.
