The Cake

Well here it is, back from Sue's after being decorated. Mum is really pleased with it, thank goodness. Who would think that getting a cake for an event should be so stressful and so important but there you go, its not everyday that you reach an anniversary like this.

Just got to make sure one of the dogs doesn't eat it. There's an old family story about my grandparents visiting one Christmas and their spaniels rushed between the legs of someone opening the front door and ate the newly iced Christmas cake. Not risking this one.

1950-2010 quite an achievement.
