Bunny Ears

This picture has a lot of meaning for me.

The ears, which I wore yesterday for Easter (scaring a little kid at the grocery store in the process), represent the nickname my wife has had for me over the entire 12 years we've been together. She has always called me bunny, bunz, baby bunny, or some variation thereof. I got a tattoo of a bunny on my leg when we reached 10 years together, and she often gets me little bunny trinkets. So I've got a lot invested in these ears!

The other meaning is very geeky. I took this picture using Cheese, which is apparently the most popular webcam software for Linux. Installing Cheese represents a step further into making Linux my primary OS. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala), and although I've used various flavors of Linux over the years, this is the first time I've really been trying to make it my primary OS. I kept an XP partition on this machine just-in-case, but I haven't booted into it since I got the computer back from the repair shop on Friday.

I'm pretty sure this is the first blip I've taken of myself...
