not just a quiet statue

This is a statue of Rodger Taney. I didn't know this when I shot it.
He was the cheif justice during the time of the Dred Scott
decision which upheld slavery. Thought to be one of the worst if not the worst supreme court decisions, he is Maryland born and this is why this statue is in front of the State Capitol.
It is almost constantly petitioned to be moved but here it sits. At least it looks neat.
