Wee Broken Birdie

We have large glass windows , which from time to time the bird life takes a closer look ,goodness knows why as the windows have not been cleaned in over a year.Today this little guy bounced of with barely a discernible flub as apposed to a thud, went outside expecting the worst but thankfully he was just getting his senses .
Picked him up to put him on a tree and he flew away pretty quickly .
Did look him up in my bird book but after 20 minutes of looking they all looked the same.But he was definatley not an Emu or a Cassowary!
