Flaming Beavers!

Managed to get a fair bit of work done despite the lovely wether callling me!

Gave the house just a wee bit tidy as my pal was coming up

She arrived about 2.30 and we caught up on all the blethering. I asked her what she wanted to do, lets go looking for your Argyll beavers she said.
Off we went , parked the car, walked down a track and met with our first hazard - a flooded path courtesy of the beavers! After some shuffling and quick steps (she of course had wellies on and me with my trainers) we got over the beaver made path flodded hurdle and began following a sort of path that ran paralell to the loch scanning all the while for these elusive dam beavers which I was beginning to think was a paractical joke perpetrated by the local tourist board to get idiots like us out of our lovely dry warm cars to tramp about a stupid forrest.

After about an eternity and going nowhere fast, I said we better make our way back to the lovely warm dry no muddy car
We turned back and imediatley lost the flaming path and were finding ourselves going uphill and downdale ina and out of bogs, tree stumps , you name it. At one point my poor hapless pall took a header and fell flat on her fizog, I did for a very brief moment consider whipping my camera out to take a picture of my downed pal but descretion got the better of me (call it i cowardice)

Anyhows after what seemed like a lifetime, we did manage to find a path which got us back on an even keep.
Photo is os of said pal scanning waters of Loch Dubh looking for what I am convinced are imaginery beavers.

After a good dinner of sirloing steaks with a good bottle of red,I now have got my errant pal hooked on chuzzels. Ha that will serve her right.
Now for our Gaelic coffee.

Have a good evening
all blipbeavers
