Roe Stags

I spotted one of these the other side of the field I walk the dogs in. Thought they would be long gone.... couldn't believe it when I got half way up the field and not only one to see but two.... they are such handsome animals. They stood an watched us for a while, even while I threw the ball for the dogs... then the one on the left started to wander towards us inquisitively I was amazed. Almost horrified as I had the dogs with me.... off the lead... The shots were a bit grainy as the light was so poor. This was my favorite.

The dogs were too busy with the ball to notice thankfully, a few barks to get my attention to the ball and the young stags decided to move on.
