Waiting for wash day

Today was one of the few occasions where the first shot of the day turned out to be the best, although it faced tough competition from the third. The other half dozen or so shots just kind of fell by the wayside.

The washing lines belong to a B&B establishment and usually something is out there hanging to dry and I hurry on past. But today was different, even though it was good drying weather.

The random arrangment of clothes pegs immediately caught my eye and begged to be photographed.
