The tulip

I took this photo early in the morning, so there are dew drops on the tulip and the pine needles.

There are a bunch of tulips all growing together, and this one grew off on it's own in a different direction then the rest of the group. It reminds me of my own life. I always go my own direction, and in many ways, I'm always alone. But, going with the group is less comfortable because I need to feel free. I hate limitations and expectations.

The rocks and pine needles seem to represent the obsctacles in my life, while the tulip represents the beauty in my life despite or sometimes even because of the obstacles. Without the rocks, the beauty of the tulip wouldn't be as evident. Each aspect of this photo has a special beauty, some just not so obvious.
