Blossom

The glorious blossom on this plum tree at the bottom of the garden is particularly pleasing to me because I planted the tree myself when it was a mere sapling.

I have made a number of attempts to capture it, but I am having problems with the wretched auto-focus on my Lumix, which seems determined to focus on the branches and present the blossom as a blur, ignoring my attempts to make it focus on any flower. Auto-focus is new to me as I am used to SLR cameras where I had full control. Letting the camera do the work is very convenient 90% of the time but maddening when it doesn't work.
